Barra Beach
The beach we will visit is called Praia da Barra, in Aveiro. Located next to the pier that marks the entrance to the Port of Aveiro and where the Ria flows, Praia da Barra has an extensive sandy beach and offers good conditions for the practice of various sports such as surfing, bodyboarding, kitesurfing, sailing and sport fishing. Much sought after by bathers, this is a very busy area during the summer, with the entertainment going on into the night, in the many bars and parties. Next to the beach, the imposing Farol de Aveiro stands out, built more than a century ago and at 62 meters high, it is the tallest in Portugal.
